چکیده
Abstract The Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensors onboard satellites are leading in advance to monitor physical changes of volcano edifices such as deformation. A few days temporal resolution imageries provided by Sentinel-1 SAR make it possible volcanoes worldwide near-real-time monitoring. constellation produces a large amount images valuable for monitoring deformation and hazard mitigation. However, processing the Interferometric (InSAR) dataset is time-consuming requires high-performance computers. Overcoming problem, Center Observation & Modelling Earthquakes, Volcanoes Tectonics (COMET) created program called Looking Inside Continents from Space Sentinel (LiCSAR) integrated InSAR time-series analysis LiCSBAS process calculate interferogram time series efficiently. This study presents observation volcanic activities at Mts. Sinabung Agung North Sumatra Bali, respectively. We have observed both 2015 2022. analyzed 1824 848 interferograms Mt. Agung, was successfully processed despite being located under tropics. Velocity dominated uplift around summit, consistent with measurement Volcanology Geological Hazard Mitigation (CVGHM). In period January March 2017, lava dome using laser distance meter showed an increase 1.2 Mm 3 1.7 , while detected movement 14 mm. On contrary, summit mm/yr indicate uplift, subsidence crater.

Multiscale InSAR Time Series (MInTS) analysis of surface deformation
[1] We present a new approach to extracting spatially and temporally continuous ground deformation fields from interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) data. We focus on unwrapped interferograms from a single viewing geometry, estimating ground deformation along the line-of-sight. Our approach is based on a wavelet decomposition in space and a general parametrization in time. We refer t...

[1] We use 2007–2011 Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) data to perform an arc-wide interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) time series survey of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt (TMVB) and to study time-dependent ground deformation of four Indonesian volcanoes selected following the 2007–2009 study of Chaussard and Amelung (2012). Our objectives are to examine whether arc volcano...
متن کاملNear real-time speckle imaging for optimization of observing parameters
Images of astronomical objects acquired by ground-based telescopes are blurred by atmospheric turbulence. These blurring effects can be partially overcome by post-detection processing such as speckle imaging (SI). We have developed a parallel implementation of SI to dramatically reduce the time required to reduce imaging data, allowing us to implement a near realtime (NRT) SI image feedback cap...

Near Real-Time Disturbance Detection Using Satellite Image Time Series: Drought Detection in Somalia
Near real-time monitoring of ecosystem disturbances is critical for rapidly assessing and addressing impacts on carbon dynamics, biodiversity, and socio-ecological processes. Satellite remote sensing enables cost-effective and accurate monitoring at frequent time steps over large areas. Yet, generic methods to detect disturbances within newly captured satellite images are lacking. We propose a ...
